Q: How much does the service cost?

The Web Service and the Mac version are absolutely FREE. The full iPhone version currently costs 4.99$ in the U.S. (And appropriate to AppStore Tier 5 prices in other countries), But a FREE LITE version is also available.

Q: How to register?

Registration is available only on the Web Service.

1. Find and click the “Register” button in the Menu bar on top of the page.
2. Fill all required fileds in the registration form and submit it.

Q: How to log in?

Make the following steps on the Web Service:

1. Find a login panel on the right-top side of the main page.
2. Type your username and password.
3. Click the small button with a lock icon.

Q: How to compose a melody?

Make the following steps on the Web Service:

1. If you’re not logged in, Log in
2. Click “Posts” button in the Menu bar on top of the page. You will be directed to to Posts page of your control panel.
   
3. Click “Add New” button in “Posts” section in the Menu bar on left of the page. You’ll be directed to “New Post” page of your control panel.
   
4. First give a title to your melody. Now you can save the post as a draft, complete and publish it later.
   
5. Now you can compose a melody in the Melody Editor.
   
   1. On the Templates panel or the Melody panel single click on a button with a note icon you need and appropriate title and the note will be played to preview it’s sound.
   2. First select a note on the Melody panel to set a position for a new note. Then double click on a button with a note icon you need and appropriate title on the Templates panel and the note will be inserted into the Melody panel.
   3. Double click on a button with a note icon you need and appropriate title on the Melody panel and the note will be deleted.
   4. Set a Root to the melody.
   5. Set an Instrument to the melody.
   6. To preview the composed melody, click the Play button.
   7. To save the composed melody to your local disk, click the Save button.
   8. To upload a FingersTune (or Ocarina Pitcher) *.pitch file, click the Upload button. In the opened window select file and check properties you want to be taken from the file and applied to your melody.
      
   9. To see a quick help for Melody Editor, click the Help button.
   10. The Votes panel on the of the Melody Editor shows how much vote other users left for the melody. And what’s the average rating the melody has. An user who isn’t the author of the post can vote by clicking on appropriate star.
6. Type a description for the post. Some text formatting can be applyed to the description. Also some basic HTML tags are supported while typing in HTML mode. Also Images and other media can be included.
   
7. Assign your post to some categories.
   
8. Assign some tags to your post.
   
9. Save as a draft or publish your post.

Q: How to edit my profile?

1. If you’re not logged in, Log in
2. Click “Posts” button, you will be redirected to Posts page.
3. Click “Profile” button
4. Change what you need to change
5. Save changes

Q: How to send messages to other users?

1. If you’re not logged in, Log in
2. The “Messages” button will appear on Menu bar. If you have some unread messages, the number of them will be shown near the button.
3. Click on the “Messages” button, you will be redirected to Messages page.
4. Click on the “New message” button.
5. Select a receiver
6. Type a subject
7. Type a message body
8. Submit the message
